The ArchiveManager is a GroupWise plugin to archive emails from a GroupWise Client into custom Archive- and Document Management Systems (DMS). Implemented are the GroupWise archive, the filesystem and the OpenText / IXOS LiveLink Archive Server at present. In future the targetsystems will be extend to include FTP-servers, Filenet and other DMS as customers demand it.

It features mail, folder and rule based archiving. Settings and rulefiles can be distributed from a single point of control, like a file- or webserver. Except from the GroupWise archive, archiving is done through saving and replacing the body and attachments with shortcut files pointing to the real files in the archive.
This procedure gives maximum flexibility while preserving access in proxy mode and shared folders.
